Serving Communities in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas

Hospice of Texarkana was established in 1985 BY the community and FOR the community.

The Junior League of Texarkana granted $50,000 to establish a non-profit hospice in Texarkana—this was also the first hospice in the region.

On June 1, 2016, we opened the area’s only freestanding Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Most patients continue to receive care at their home, but there are times when patients need short term

stays to be stabilized and then they can return to their home, or facility home.
