The nonprofit organization was privileged
to serve 323 patients and their families. Because of financial support from the community and careful management of resources, the agency continues to care for patients without regard to their ability to pay. Hospice of Texarkana, Inc. is audited annually by an independent accounting firm. Of the 350 patients cared for, 53% had cancer and 47% had non-cancer diagnoses.

For nearly two years, we have been engaged in a Capital Campaign to build a Hospice Inpatient Care Center. In 2010, the Campaign received nearly $400,000. You may ask
yourself:
After a history of providing the best in hospice care, why is the Hospice Inpatient Center so important now?
It's a matter of need. Hospice of Texarkana, Inc. has responded to the families they serve. The facility will provide for a
need that is unmet in this region
-a n
-a need for advanced hospice care in a comfortable, home-like setting.
